Indogg Gin by Snoop Dogg

Indogg is an American gin produced by Snoop Dogg and the distiller, United States Distilled Products Company. It contains seven botanicals and has a juniper base with added strawberry flavor. It is a clear spirit with an aroma of candied orange gumdrops, lemon curd and dried strawberries with a palate of strawberry jam, blackberry, peppery juniper and confectionary notes. It is bottled at a strength of 80 proof and has an ABV of 49%.

Snoop’s Indogg Gin was created in collaboration with distiller and brand maven Keenan Townes and is a limited-edition release. Indogg Gin is distilled at the Four Roses distillery in Kentucky, USA and is made with a blend of high-quality natural ingredients. The gin is infused with a special strawberry essence that gives it a distinct, sweet taste. In addition, the gin is blended with other botanicals including angelica root and seed, which are typically used to make gin.

The gin is bottled at a strength of 80proof and has an ABV of 49%. It is a clear spirit with an aromatic nose of candied orange gumdrops, lemon cud, dried strawberries and a touch of hibiscus. The palate is smooth and jammy with a taste of strawberry, blackberry, candied pineapple and peppery juniper.

INDogs have been under the radar for centuries but are slowly garnering attention & acceptance as working line and companion dogs. They have been featured in the National Geographic Channel documentary, ‘Search for the First Dog’ and are being promoted as a replacement for traditional breeds by the Primitive & Aboriginal Dog Society (PADS) based out of USA.

As a natural, perfected breed by the process of evolution and selection, they have minimum genetic disorders like hip dysplasia, cancers etc. They can also live up to a healthy age of 13 - 16 years with good care. However, their innate hunting instincts, if not nourished and channeled by proper training, can manifest as territoriality and aggression toward strangers in their natural habitat. This can be countered by early socialization of indie pups. They are loyal and loving towards their pack members but can be wary of strangers. They have a logical and analytical approach to life and great patience. This makes them a good choice for people who are willing to spend the time required to train them well. They are not suitable for families with children or other pets. They are not a breed that can be kenneled or caged. Their natural habitat and evolutionary journey has also made them extremely territorial and aggressive towards unknown humans. Hence, they do not trust or tolerate any threats to their family/pack. This can lead to a variety of behavioral issues in them, if not handled properly.
